The South East Rural Towns Partnership (SERTP) will be holding an event to celebrate its 10th Anniversary and the recent designation as a limited Company by Guarantee.
"Celebrating Progress through Partnership"
A Special conference to celebrate SERTP's support of Community Partnerships in the South East.
Topics will include:
- Challenges and opportunities for rural towns from a national and regional perspective
- The value of community planning
- Partnership working and how to sustain it
- Project management. How volunteers can deliver complicated projects
- Linking up with local, district and county authorities. Delivering on actions
Delegates will be given the opportunity to view and discuss innovative and exciting projects being delivered by community partnerships across the region.
The event will be held at Denbies, the largest independent wine producer in Europe, situated in the Surrey Hills close to the small market town of Dorking. Conference times 9.30-3.30
This will provide a very interesting day with influential speakers addressing topics affecting rural towns from a national and regional perspective. BBC Countryfile has been invited to attend the event and the day will present a great opportunity for delegates to share their experiences
The inaugural meeting of the South East Rural Partnership in its new form will also take place during the day
