Family Fun Day
The England Illegal Money Lending Team, Greenham Common Trust and the Community Youth Project will be working in partnership with a range of other agencies to host a fun day with a serious message. The event which will be celebrating the opening of the newly refurbished Greenham Community Centre brings together several agencies, who can offer information and advice about finances and other issues affecting local people.
Representatives from the England Illegal Money Lending Team will be on hand to speak to residents about the perils of borrowing from illegal money lenders and the importance of reporting these criminals. Other partners involved include the Citizens Advice Bureau, Community Savings and Loans Credit Union, Sovereign and Sanctuary Housing Associations, Sure Start, Thames Valley Police and West Berkshire Council.
