The Bernard Sunley Foundation provides grant funding in support of charitable projects that aim to improve the quality of life for the young, deprived, disadvantaged, disabled and elderly in the UK.

What For?
Capital and/or revenue costs.

 

Match funding is not necessarily required and the grant can be used as match funding.

 
Funding is for beneficiaries belong to a wide cross section of the community and include: education, arts, religion, community, children and youth, elderly, health, social welfare, environment, animal welfare, amateur sport, emergency and armed services, and overseas.
 
The Foundation publishes very brief guidelines for applicants. There is no application form.
 
Write to the Director giving:
details of your charity and its objectives,
the need and purpose of your project
how much it will cost
the size of grant requested
how much has already been raised and from whom, and
how you plan to raise the shortfall.
Include annual report and accounts and any other documentation you feel will help to support your appeal.

Most grants will be for less than £10,000.
