Employment Support for Clients from BAME Background with Mental Health Illnesses

This programme involves a 1 day workshop to give you the skills you need to secure employment.  The Workshop will cover:

 

  • Preparing for employment – CVs and Interview Technique
  • Utilising your skills and knowing your weaknesses
  • Action planning – your next steps into employment
  • New Equalities Act 2010 – what this means for you
  • Disclosing a disability – how and when?

The workshop aims to give you the knowledge and skills that you need to get back into employment.  Whether you have had a break from work or whether you are looking for employment for the first time, the workshop will give you the confidence in taking the first step towards the right job for you.

 

The workshop will be relaxed and informal, allowing you to ask the questions which are important to you.  Following the workshop, Graft is able to offer ongoing one to one support to help you into employment.
