Details: Lambourn Valley Sustainability Forum
Climate Change is rarely brought into a local context. In this Action for All micro - site the Lambourn Valley Sustainability Forum is attempting to provide an informal, practical and fun way to approach, what after all is a very profound and complex subject.
The Lambourn Valley Sustainability Forum is a secular and non party political organisation. We attempt to balance our need for sponsorship and funding with what we see as best for the environment and the Earth.
Local Parish Councils will soon be able to draw upon the guidance given by the 'Climate Change – Strategy from West Berkshire Council' but local resident's groups will still need help in making relevant choices in order to help them shape their activities to meet the local carbon reduction targets (Carbon Footprint) for their community. None of these strategies can be realised without the full participation by everyone!
The Lambourn Valley Sustainability Forum provides help to all local groups in understanding the ways in which they can meet their commitments to the local carbon budgets and how they may mitigate and adapt their activities for a better future for all our children.
