Calling All Community Food Projects

                                                                                                                                                                                       A Call to Community Food Projects with Enterprising Plans

The Fresh Ideas Network is inviting applications for places on its Fresh Ideas in Business Mentoring and Support Programme. We are looking to support community food projects based in the south east of England, who wish to develop sustainable solutions through income generating activities.

The programme will be offering individual support to projects to build on their knowledge and skills and to develop their capacity to run businesses and services that benefit local people and contribute to their local economy.

Timescale: It will run over a 5 month period starting in March 2010.

Location: Mentoring, where possible will take place at individual project bases and within their localities, and group sessions will take place in a location within the south east which has good transport links.

Application Process: Interested projects are asked to read the programme information provided and then complete the attached application form, returning it by Monday 22nd February. As the programme is offering targeted support to individual projects, places are limited, so whilst Fresh Ideas will not be able to support all applicants, it is hoped that some online support and resources will be available later in the year at the Fresh Ideas Website: www.freshideas.org.uk
