CWDC is Commissioning Specialist training courses for outreach practitioners
CDWC plan to commission training providers to deliver specialist training courses relevant to outreach practitioners.
These training courses will provide opportunities for practitioners to develop more specialist skills and knowledge in areas such as supporting parents and families of children with particular needs.
Children's centre outreach practitioners play a vital role working with families and helping them to make the most of children's centre services. CDWC want to enable practitioners who have already a high level of outreach skills and knowledge to access more specialist training.
They plan to offer a variety of training courses around a set of predefined training themes.
Themes for specialist training
- Promoting the health, safety and welfare of children
- Working effectively with local partners
- Supporting parents and families with particular needs
