As part of West Berkshire Council’s continuing support to community groups either developing community plans or implementing action plans, an event is being held where you can “Meet the Rural Housing Enabler” along with representatives from West Berkshire’s Housing Strategy Team.
This is one of the series of Meet the Expert and Parish Plan Surgery events held throughout the year.
Come along to this session which will focus on “Rural housing for local needs” in West Berkshire.
There will be a presentation and discussion to:
• Understand housing policy
• Explain the community benefits of rural exception sites
• Discuss housing need surveys
• Explore the impact of emerging Government policies like:
Big Society, Localism and the Community Right to Build and Local Housing Trusts.
Please come with any of your questions or concerns about housing development in your village.
