Frilsham's Future captures a 67% response
The Frilsham Future Community Plan Team were out in force recently feeding back the results of their recent questionnaire survey.
172 residents responded which made a 67% return. Young people were also consulted and produced a short film about their community which will be shown at the launch of the plan at the October St. Frideswide Supper.
PCSO Alex de Meyer and Cllr. Quentin Webb who both attended commented on how much hard work had been put into an excellent feedback event.
The community were brimming with ideas for future projects such as starting a community market plus improvements to play equipment and the Frilsham Club Room. The development of a heating oil consortium and improved broadband reception were high on the list of actions.
The village has already had some success with the starting of a very successful monthly lunch club for older residents.
A novel idea of donating 50p for each questionnaire returned resulted in £86 being donated to The Downland Volunteer Group. The presentation for the event is attached.
