Everybody Matters is a practical training course supporting frontline practitioners and service providers to seek, engage and work with Harder to Reach, Vulnerable and Disadvantaged groups & individuals.
This one day training consists of 2 modules. Training is practical and interactive and provides tools which are effective and applicable in day to day work to improve reach and impact.
Registration: 9.30am
Module 1: Introductory training 10.00am -1.00 pm
BREAK: 1.00 pm - 2.00pm
Module 2: In Practice training 2.00pm to 4.30pm
Module 1: Introductory
Training Objectives:
• To consider the process of identification as a key factor for successful engagement.
• To consider the value of perspective as a key factor for successful engagement.
• To introduce the 5 Step Practice Model to start planning for effective engagement.
• To provide opportunities for sharing knowledge and understanding to add value.
Practitioners will achieve these learning outcomes:
• Be aware of the process of identification as a key factor to successful engagement.
• Have considered service user, practitioner and service provider perspectives.
• Be able to consider using the 5 Step Practice Model for effective engagement.
• Add value to their work through shared knowledge and understanding.
Module 2: In Practice
Training objectives:
• To identify and plan for effective engagement with service users.
• To provide opportunities to share practice and generate learning.
• To network to support partnership working.
• To enable practitioners to leave with a personalised plan using the 5 Step Practice Model.
Practitioners will achieve these learning outcomes to improve their service delivery:
• Identify barriers and formulate strategies to generate actions for their service delivery.
• Apply the 5 Step Practice Model to effectively plan for engagement with their own service users.
• Recognise the value of and need for partnership working.
• Share and receive information and collaborate to further knowledge and understanding to extend service reach.
